BLUE BUNGALOW - LOYALTY EXPERIENCE

Designing a tiered loyalty experience that rewards customers beyond points.

CONTEXT

Role

UX/UI Design while employed as UX Analyst.

Following brand guidelines, I designed all responsive UI states across the loyalty journey, ready for developer handoff. This included facilitating requirement gathering with eCommerce and Marketing to map UI variations based on login status, loyalty opt-in, tier level, points balance, and redemption activity.

Background

Blue Bungalow is a fashion retailer for mature women. Club Blue Bungalow is a tier-based loyalty program rewarding customers beyond points - offering travel experiences, collection discounts, priority shipping, and free returns.

Due to tech partner limitations, the loyalty program is on hold.

SOLUTION

Member Experience

Final responsive UI designs in the sate of a Level 2 loyalty member, with a points balance.

What I’d do differently

The challenge with this project was quick turnaround and access to the loyalty program SME.

  1. User testing
    If there were more time, I would prototype and test with customers with the knowledge that this customer segment is resistant to change, to determine which parts of the content, program offerings, or UX they struggle with most.

  2. Collaborate directly with the tech partner loyalty expert
    Outlining requirements and all UI states with the loyalty program expert would have been helpful to reduce assumptions in design and understanding technical limitations in early iterations.
